On July 5, 2011, Africa lost one of its luminary choral directors, Boniface Mganga. He founded the internationally famed Muungano National Choir of Kenya in 1979 and since then championed the cause of fine choral music tradition across Africa. Maestro Mganga was barely 56. Read news report from Kenya's leading paper, Daily Nation.
