Choral concerts, orchestras (standard
Western and indigenous). Violin,
flute and piano master classes for
serious and aspiring musicians, as
well as African choral workshops for singers, choral
directors and music educators.
When: August 15 through the 22nd.
Where: Venues around Accra and Winneba. August 17 and 18 concerts at the Ghana National Theatre
Registration & Participation:
$750/person covers hotel accommodation,
food, purified drinking water, and local transportation in
Ghana. Participants – choirs and
individuals – are responsible to pay their own air tickets
and other travel logistics.
Everyone will be hosted by the members, parents and the board
members of the Winneba Youth Choir. The US Embassy in Accra is also co-hosting
